Weddings and Events

The Country Club of Scranton is a premier location for events in Northeast Pennsylvania. The Club is ideal for a wide range of events; including large weddings, small family gatherings, corporate events, golf tournaments and much more. Our banquet facility is comprised of The Main Dining Room, The South Porch, The Main Patio, The Board Room and The Bridal Suite. Each area can be used separately or in conjunction depending on individual events. Off-premise catering is also available to the membership.
 

Event Spaces

Main Dining Room

The Main Dining Room is the focal point of the banquet facility at The Country Club of Scranton. This room measures 1600 square feet of rich hardwood flooring, and has a maximum seating capacity of 180, but can be partitioned to host smaller events. Access points to the Main Patio and South Porch are provided from The Main Dining Room.

South Porch

The South Porch is a sunroom adjoining The Main Dining Room. It provides a unique space, ideal for smaller parties and shower events, seating up to 48 people. It can also be used in conjunction with the Main Dining Room as a cocktail lounge area.

Main Patio

The Main Patio is the outdoor extension of our Main Dining Room. This area offers a stunning view of the golf course, and is the ideal location for outdoor cocktail parties. It can also be used seasonally for an event space that can accommodate up to 72 people.

Board Room & Bridal Suite

The Country Club of Scranton offers a Bridal Suite and adjoining Board Room on the second floor of the building. The Bridal Suite offers a soft lounge setting for bridal parties to dress and prepare for on-site wedding ceremonies. It also can be used as a bridal party and children’s retreat during wedding receptions. The Board Room is ideal for business meetings of up to 20 people, and offers the technology necessary for most audio-visual presentations.
